Autorenporträt
LAURA GOOR was born and raised in a middle class neighbourhood in Toronto, Canada, to parents who immigrated from the Netherlands in the late '50s. Her curiosity, constant yearning for more, and inability to settle for what was, led her to a near quarter-century career on cruise ships. She has been blessed with an extraordinary life, and a multitude of lessons along the way. Laura retired from cruise ships five years ago, but has continued to travel the world. When not travelling, she lives in Toronto with her mother as a seasonal roommate.
