Autorenporträt
Katie Hayes grew up in the North Carolina Mountains reading works from poets such as Robert Service and John Prine. She studied English literature at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and supported herself as a watercolorist before settling down in Hillsborough, North Carolina with her family. The idea for this collection came from the stories that Katie makes up for her children, Ben and Amelia. Twisted Tales for Tacky Children is her first book.
