Gale D. Stanton has studied and worked in mental health and wellness for more than 20 years, with an MA in Counseling from Oakland University, Rochester Hills, MI, and has worked as a Registered Occupational Therapist in psychiatric hospitals in MI & FL. She became a Pediatric Therapy Specialist for CA Children Services, then a Program director for a private college in San Diego, CA, where she taught Life-Span Development & Psychosocial Functioning. She created an Occupational Therapy Asst program accredited by the Accreditation Council of Occupational Therapy Education. Raised in the Detroit suburb of Bloomfield Hills, she now lives in Dallas, where she is working on other books about the life stages of intimate relationships.
