Although, it is mostly fiction, it is a story that could have happened. The two girls grew up and they knew one of them would be the mother of the Messiah. BORN TO BE KING starts where the first book ended. I discovered in my research that not much was known about Jesus' life before he went to Jerusalem to preach the Gospel. So using my imagination, I was able to write the story. Who knows how much is fiction?

Judy Barnes was born many years ago in Tooele, Utah. Growing up as an Air Force brat, she traveled a lot. She found that she had a love of reading fictional books. Reading these books gave her a desire to write. After raising a large family she decided to give writing a try. Although in her latter years she wrote a book called TWO GIRLS FROM NAZARETH. The people she knew that read it loved it. They encouraged her to write a sequel. Hence, BORN TO BE KING.
