From the mind of Dr. Peggy Simmons Wilson comes a memoir that combines a love of dogs, faith in God, and the inherent human feelings of grief, guilt, and shame into a beautiful, vulnerable work of art from the heart. Dive into a love story for the ages between Lee, a woman transitioning between life stages, and Coco, the dog that's along for the ride. Told in parallel storylines, Two Tales Waggin' begins when Coco becomes Lee's companion and confidante as the latter struggles to deal with grief amid her busy life. However painful her experiences, though, Coco remains right by her side - a relationship that provides Lee with the comfort and peace she so desperately longs for. With Coco's companionship, Lee builds the courage and inner grace to confront one of her life's greatest disappointments. Shaped by juxtaposing narratives - Coco's whimsical nature and Lee's seriousness - Two Tales Waggin' keeps the reader engaged in the story, actively encourages speculation on their own life, and takes them back in time with exhilarating accounts of historical events. Written to comfort those struggling with grief, guilt, shame, and faith, Two Tales Waggin': A Journey Through Grief to Grace brings understanding and self-reflection to the forefront for readers. It seeks, not only to inspire, but to nurture a positive relationship toward peace, love, and joy in those who need it most.
