"Two ways" shows a means of looking at the world and trying to understand its many complexities. It has always helped me to understand a situation better by considering it from two opposing perspectives. "Two ways" shows a means of looking at the world and trying to understand its many complexities. It has always helped me to understand a situation better by considering it from two opposing perspectives. The Lord shows us certain examples of this in the Bible: there is the way of Cain and the way of Able. There is the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. There are the two brothers, Jacob and Esau, one the Lord loved and one He hated. There are angels and fallen angels. There is Israel and the rest of the world. Do I need to go on? This book is, however, not an attempt to divide the world into two and turn it binary, as that would be oversimplifying it but contains ten real-life experiences in various countries around the world that view and interpret crucial issues in life from two contrasting standpoints. It helped me to make good choices. Most, but not all, of the stories have a Christian bias. As a born-again Christian it is hard not to. The characters from Holland, Japan, Australia and various Middle Eastern countries are based on real people that I have met and known and some are composites. I hope it will inspire you to contemplate life's issues in a new way and make certain choices if you haven't already.
