Loving activities are those actions that a person performs to increase love and attitudes towards love are based on ideologies and needs of the individual acquired through experience. The general objective of this research was to determine the association between the types of love activities and attitudes towards love in students of a private university in Chiclayo; as well as to identify the types of love activities and attitudes towards love according to sex. The population are university students of the VIII cycle, conformed by 188 young adults. We worked with the Concrete Love Activity Scale and the Attitude to Love Scale. The results indicated that there is an association between the types of love activity and attitudes towards love; for the types of love activity no significant differences were found between sexes. However, for the attitudes towards love, significant differences were found between sexes; the most frequent attitudes in males were eros and in females storge.
