Autorenporträt
Dr John Anakwenze was born in Okwe, Nigeria. He is a native of Abagana in the Njikoka local government, Anambra state. He qualified as a doctor in 1973 and practiced as a medical doctor from 1973-1976 before leaving Nigeria for the United Kingdom for postgraduate studies. John trained in Nuclear Medicine in St. Bartholomew's Hospital in West London between 1981-1983 and became well versed in the use of radioactive substances for diagnostic purposes and treatment. He returned to Nigeria in 1984, lecturing in Nuclear Medicine in the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital from 1985-1990. He moved back to United Kingdom in 1990 with his family. John is a retired Locum Consultant in Geriatric Medicine. His interests are reading, music, travel and clinical medicine skills. He has had three books published in the past two years and has been published in medical journals. John is married with seven children.
