Ellyn Marciano began her career as a children's singer and songwriter. She then taught English for many years while continuing to write songs, poems and stories for young children. She illustrates her own books using Canva Pro* tools in multiple layers (with minimal use of AI), to achieve a unique, hand-painted, and whimsical look which is especially appealing to young children and beginner readers.
