Ingénieur des Travaux Publics, Désiré Aka Echui est Docteur en Transport, diplômé de l'Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées de Paris. Enseignant chercheur puis Directeur de l'ESTP, il occupe actuellement la fonction de Directeur Général de l'Office de Sécurité Routière de Côte d'Ivoire après celle de Directeur Général des Transports Terrestres.
