Produktbeschreibung
This book examines the peculiarities of European identity of Ukrainian graduate and postgraduate students in Western Ukraine (case-study of the city of Lviv). The qualitative and quantitative analysis is conducted on the basis of a questionnaire. The study attempts to assess the feeling of Europeanness among the respondents, to analyze their interpretation of concepts "Europe" and "European", to determine how many young, people possess European identity and how it is related to their other identities. One of the goals is also to evaluate the respondents` attitudes towards EU and examine different aspects of correlation of EU and Ukraine. Our main hypothesis is that in their majority young educated Ukrainian people consider themselves European and their European identity is mainly founded on their feeling of Europeanness, it does not depend on their attitudes to EU or European integration.
