Begoña Oro es uno de los nombres más importantes y reconocidos de la literatura infantil y juvenil en nuestro país. Lleva más de veinte años escribiendo para el público infantil o, como dice ella, "empeñada en que te guste leer". Cientos de miles de niños han aprendido a leer con sus personajes: el rey de la noche, doña Despistes, la ardilla Rasi (y su pandilla), Troti y el Dragón de las Letras. Y han querido seguir leyendo sus "Misterios a domicilio" o sus novelas juveniles. Ha publicado más de cien títulos, su obra ha sido traducida a varias lenguas y ha ganado el Premio Gran Angular, el Premio Hache, el Premio Eurostars Narrativa de Viajes y el Cervantes Chico.
