Marta González Novo es licenciada en Periodismo por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Lleva trabajando veinticinco años en la SER y dirige Hoy por hoy Madrid desde hace más de una década. Entre otros galardones, González Novo ha sido reconocida con dos Antenas de Plata y el Premio del Parlamento de Andalucía, por su contribución a la difusión de la cultura andaluza al presentar el primer programa de radio emitido en directo desde la casa de Federico García Lorca, en Valderrubio. Una bañera de hojas secas es su primera novela.
