In 2010, while pursuing her master's degree in organization management and leadership, Dr. Henderson discovered her interest in the national influences and business management practices across the globe. She suggests that forming strategic alliance requires perceptional fit and the circumstances of relationships as much as compatible professional and collaborative capabilities. Considering interpersonal trust as the moderator in forming and maintaining business relationships, Dr. Henderson's exploratory research reveals perception of uncertainty and trust through the lens of culturally diverse potential exchange partners. Dr. Henderson's study is unique as it approaches globalization of medicine from a business standpoint and the physicians as geographically segregated and culturally diverse temporary business partners.
