Uncertainty Modeling is very important in civil engineering. There are many problems for designers in their making decisions regarding modeling ambiguous and uncertainty in their designs. Hence, in this book a novel method is proposed by application of Genetic Algorithms and Fuzzy Logic. Thereby, at first some basic and principles of Genetic Algorithms is described then the modeling of experts ideas by Fuzzy Logic is stated and finally, a method for modeling linguistic variables is proposed which can be applied in optimization of structures.
