Weather is our constant companion, and when it behaves like a benevolent parent we pay little attention to it. Angry or out of control it becomes terrifying and can change the landscape as well as lives. Uncharted Storms 2 takes readers on a journey through a soft summer rain to raging storms on earth and into the cosmos. Fasten your seatbelts! Chris is taking a break after completing her Associate Degree to travel the winter horse show circuit. She is on her way home with her best friend when she is injured in a traffic accident. The early spring storm, which is responsible for the devastation, catapults her and her friend on a journey back through time. Follow this pair through the storm and its aftermath in Riding Lightning. This edition of Uncharted Storms gives readers a look into the life of three brave horses trapped in terrifying circumstances. We begin with the Shadow in the short piece "River of Hope." "Swift Water Rescue," and "Horse Show Twister." Are excerpts from Backyard Horse Tales books one and. Two.
