These three Rhea brothers and Margaret are thought by researchers to be grandchildren of Matthew Campbell Rhea of Scotland and Ireland. And, so, the author's story begins with him.

Lillian is an award-winning author of her recent books, "Wildflowers and Train Whistles: Stories of a Coal Mining Family" and "A Walk Through Minden: In the Lives of The Crone and Vegh Families".
