Autorenporträt
Ella has always wanted to be in a position to help people. As an undergraduate student at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities she studied Sociology of Law-Criminology and Deviance. Her objective was to become a lawyer but as she began the application process she realized that her heart wasn't in it and continued to pursue her professional career. She has worked in Human Resources, Retail and Banking in management capacities and continued to help people in various ways. She received her Master's Degree from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in Human Resources hoping to further her desire to help people. There was always a burning desire to do more and none of the paths ever seemed to be quite right. One day as she was talking to one of her girlfriends having an issue and she contemplated her own life, she realized that there was a way that she could help people (women in particular). She could help them by providing them a voice and addressing issues that real women face every day. She wanted them to know that it's ok to have feelings and struggle sometimes, that they are not alone. It can difficult to bring these issues on the forefront. That's when Tahj, Victoria, Alayna, Desi and Aria were born. She wrote their story by placing herself in their shoes (she was previously an actress) and telling their story in the way that only a group of girlfriends can. As a diverse group of friends they are able to address a lot of issues within the realm of safety brought by girlfriends. Through this platform Ella was able to live her dream of helping people on a much larger scale by writing to their souls. She currently resides in Charlotte, NC with her husband and their daughter.
