Autorenporträt
Monique Durand Currie lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba with her husband Curtis and rescue dog Emmett. Her lifelong dream of becoming a published author has been made even more special with the help of her grown daughter Alycia Currie as the talented illustrator of this book. Monique currently works as an educational assistant for special needs children in a French immersion elementary school, and has worked there for the past 13 years. Throughout her life, Monique has always loved and appreciated being outdoors and in nature. She has actively been practicing yoga, meditation, and mindfulness for many years and loves sharing her knowledge with others. She enjoys hiking, travelling, reading in her flower garden, and walking her dog every day. This is Monique's first published book.
