The quiet little town of Cougar Rock, Idaho had been a safe place whose greatest worries were the dust and the mosquitoes. Then it hit - and everything happened at once. One man missing without a trace, another one dead, and no one with any answers. At the same time, someone tries to burn down the West Fork Hotel. A beautiful young blond shows up out of nowhere and buys the fire-damaged hotel. Domingo Wells is called in to be sheriff but most of the clues are underground. Some of them in the grave of the dead man, the rest still moving around down there. All three books in the Windcatcher series are available in paperback, ebook, and large-print versions. Autorenporträt
Born in Oregon, raised in the ranch country of Idaho, Don loved the wild country of Alaska and Idaho. He said: "Fortunately, due mostly to a complete lack of self-discipline, I managed to wander and explore nearly every inch of the entire state of Idaho and eastern Oregon. Then I got married. Nuff said." Don brought his love of the wild country and the old ways to the three books in the Windcatcher series. They are full of adventure and are a welcome respite from this crazy modern world. Don left this world in May 2018, leaving us with good memories and his stories.
