Guobin Xu (1954 ), male, professor of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. His research interests include: higher education administration, cultural quality education, mental health education, etc. Yanhui Chen (1973 ), male, PhD, professor of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. His research interest: ancient Chinese literature and cultural studies. Lianhua Xu (1968 ), female, editor of Journal of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. Her research interests include: history of publication and editorial studies. Kaiju Chen, PhD (in Cultural Studies),Professor of English language and culture in Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. His more recent publications include Reconstructing Images of Chinese Peasantry (2007), "Trial by Media: Overcorrection of the Inadequacy of the Right to Free Speech in Contemporary China"(2011),"On the Power of Language" (2009). His major research interest includes cultural studies, philosophy of culture, education, and translation. Xiyuan Xiong, PhD in English Language and Literature, is a teacher and editor of Sun Yat-sen University Press. His chief research interests include translation studies (mainly in Chinese translation history and translation criticism) and cultural studies. Publications include a dozen journal articles, several books (compiled) on English language learning, and a translated book on column writing written by S.M. Standring. Wenquan Wu has an M.A. in Translations Studies (Nanjing University, China) and a Master degree in Business Management (Diplom-Kaufman, Universtitat Tubingen, Germany). He is the co-translator of the Chinese version of Nobel laureate Herta Muller's Atemschaukel, and the author of academic articles on literary translation criticism, J.M. Coetzee, Julian Barnes, and Herta Muller.
