There are national and global efforts aiming at fighting against cybercrimes through enactment of cyber laws in order to create enabling environment for growth of electronic banking at the same time to protect the users.According to the literature surveyed, there are few studies conducted in Tanzania in this area. Some of studies have been overtaken by occurrence of events, such as the enactment of laws like Electronic and Postal Communication Act, 2010, Electronic Transactions Act, 2015 National Payment System Act, 2015 and Cybercrimes Act, 2015. Apart from having the legislations in this area, cybercrime in banking is increasing.
