Nepal is a country renowned for its natural beauty with diverse culture and ecosystem. However, marred by the prevailing social, political, economical, and geographical discrimination the country went through the protracted war started by the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) in 1996. After the successful Peoples Movement in April 2006 that overthrew the king and abolished monarchy, the series of talks between the Maoist and the Seven Party Alliance (SPA) was successful in bringing the Maoist into the mainstream politics. Since then, Peacebuilding has remained a crucial issue to be dealt effectively in the country.
