John W. Schwieter is Professor of Spanish, Linguistics, and Psychology at Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada. His work on language and cognition has been widely published and he is the executive editor of Bilingual Processing and Acquisition and co-editor of Cambridge Elements in Second Language Acquisition. His recent books include The Cognitive Neuroscience of Multilingualism (CUP), The Handbook of the Neuroscience of Multilingualism (Wiley), The Cambridge Handbook of Working Memory and Language (CUP), and The Cambridge Handbook of Language Learning (CUP). Aline Ferreira is Associate Professor of Linguistics in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, University of California, Santa Barbara, USA. She has widely published in the areas of psycholinguistics, bilingualism, translation and interpretation studies, and language and cognition. Her recent books include The Routledge Handbook of Translation, Interpreting, and Bilingualism (Routledge), Introduction to Translation and Interpreting Studies (Wiley), and The Handbook of Translation and Cognition (Wiley). Li Wei is Director and Dean of the UCL Institute of Education, University College London, UK, where he also holds the Chair in Applied Linguistics. He is a highly respected field-leader in the studies of bilingualism and multilingualism and founded the International Journal of Bilingualism and the International Symposium on Bilingualism. He is also the series editor for the Wiley Blackwell Guides to Research Methods in Language and Linguistics.
