However, the problems that have arisen with the increase in the number of tourists all over the world have started to be seen in Turkey as well. These problems can be summarized as the agglomeration caused by intensified mass tourism, depletion in resources, pollution and the decrease in tourist expenditure per capita caused by increased competition. For all these reasons, it is absolutely necessary to protect the environment while doing nature tourism. In this regard, more research is needed to focus on the sustainable tourism development in the different regions of the world. Therefore, this book purposed to understand ecotourism concepts and principles better and get ecotourism perspectives from tourist side in a nature tourism region, Turkey. It is thought that this book will make contribution to business world, educators, and academicians.
Autorenporträt
Mustafa Daskin is an Associate Professor of Tourism and Hospitality Management. He has recently worked in academia as a senior lecturer in Cyprus, Malaysia, Oman, and Turkey. He has many publications in hospitality management and management journals.
