The ability of experts to make use of multiple representations in explaining chemistry concepts has become part and parcel of them. But this has made the learning of chemistry difficult and abstract for senior secondary school students. Hence, this book investigated the level of understanding of chemical reactions using multiple representations by senior secondary school students in Kwara State Nigeria. Three-tier diagnostic instrument which has the ability to reveal the misconceptions held by the students was used to determine the students' level of understanding, putting into consideration their gender and type of school. The outcome of the investigation can be employed by the stake holders in the field of chemistry education such as chemistry teachers, school authorities, government, curriculum planners etc to find lasting solution to how students can improve on understanding of the multiple existence of chemistry concepts.

Nusirat Bolanle Yusuf has Ph.D. in Science Education from University of Ilorin, Nigeria in the year 2015. She works at Kwara State College of Education (Technical) Lafiagi, as a lecturer in the Department of Chemistry Education since year 2007 up to date. Her area of research interest is on how to improve students' learning of chemistry concepts.
