M. Opu a obtenu son doctorat à l'université de Caroline du Sud et travaille actuellement en tant que scientifique chargé du développement de l'AME et de la pile à Oorja Fuel Cell. Auparavant, M. Opu a travaillé à l'université de Purdue et au NREL, où il a étudié des matériaux spécifiques, des conceptions et des essais/diagnostics pour le développement de piles à combustible à échange de protons à haute et basse température.
