Autorenporträt
Eugene D. Coyle is Head of External Research Engagement at Dublin Institute of Technology. Dr. Coyle's research contributions span renewable energies, power quality, biomedical engineering, and engineering education. He was a visiting Fulbright scholar at Purdue University's Global Policy Research Institute (GPRI) for the 2011/12 academic year. Prior to this Eugene was Head of the School of Electrical Engineering Systems at DIT, a role he held from 2004.Melissa J. Dark is the W.C. Furnas Professor of Technology in the College of Technology at Purdue University. Her research interests are the co-development and adaptation of technological and social systems in the context of global grand challenges. Melissa served as the Associate Dean for Research and Planning in the College of Technology from 2003-2011. She also serves as the Associate Director for Educational Programs at the Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security (CERIAS) at Purdue University.
