This book is a companion volume to Understanding the Holy Temple of the Old Testament. The work that the Ritmeyers have done here helps illuminate the Gospel scenes where Jesus is described interacting in and around the Temple courts. Pictures, as well as detailed reconstruction drawings, help to give the reader a more vivid understanding of the Temple complex, while the text provides the details necessary to connect the Scripture with the location. This is an excellent ad for anyone desiring to understand the Temple complex that Jesus knew and interacted with throughout the Gospels.
