This paper attempts to analyze the variations of the unemployment rate in Argentina during the years 2004 to 2015 and its relationship with the economic cycles in that country, which is known as Okun's law. The level of unemployment, besides measuring the number of people out of work, shows the social reality of the countries. Thus, the importance of studying and analyzing how the unemployment rate and the gross product interact.
