It also analyzes clientelism in U.S. policy toward the Vietnam War and in Richard J. Daley's mayoral rule over Chicago. Antoni M¿czak was full Professor of History at the University of Warsaw. He was Fellow of Collegium Invisibile, as well as Corresponding Member of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He lectured at many academic centers worldwide, including the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, University of Notre Dame and McGill University. He wrote about the economic history of Poland and on the comparative history of Poland and Europe.
