Camille is a thalassophile who sadly spent too long residing in Chicago, where there's just a very large lake and no sea. An enquiring and possibly over-educated mind, they've been described as "the politest contrarian." Though everyone believes they're tall, they're not. Likewise, they don't always dress in all-black. (Chances are, though, that they're in black.) Their stories are often called things like quiet, evocative, or liminal; things are rather dark and generally take place by an ocean. Inspired by folklore, theatre, and romantic and literary fiction, Camille is always playing with expectations. Just a little bit! Once you explore the depths with them, you may not want to emerge.
