Lucy Byers lives in Western Pennsylvania with her husband and a chocolate-colored cocker spaniel dog with a lifetime collection of books in their library. Before beginning her romantic novel, her entire career has been devoted in education, working as an administrative secretary in Elementary and Special Education for a local school district. She currently works at a healthcare facility. She obtained her Associate Degree from Westmoreland County Community College with acquiring several honors and awards. She has attended numerous Writer's Workshops and Conferences to enhance her writing skills. Unforgettable Island Promise originated during a summer vacation to Jekyll Island. She felt that her readers' would enjoy turning back the hands of time of a place away from the hustle and bustle of daily life to capture the history of the island with a sprinkle of love between the lines.
