Roxanne E. Epperson is the Executive Director and Founder of Women Against Abusive Relationships (WAAR). After surviving an abusive relationship that almost took her life, she became passionately committed to ending violence in women and girls' lives. Roxanne realized that her survival was a blessing from God. She believes that she is to use her life-threatening experience to prevent others from suffering the same. Roxanne's vision is to bring awareness and education about violence against women and girls to as many people as possible. She is devoted to helping victims and survivors of abuse heal! Her effort toward this endeavor was founding WAAR, an awareness, education, and prevention program. WAARs mission is to break the cycle of violence against women and girls and aid in their healing process.
