This study focuses on insalubrity, its causes and manifestations in schools in Abomey. Various rates, ratios and the Insalubrity Level Spatialization Index were calculated. Insalubrity in Abomey's secondary schools stems from the conditions offered by the school and the behavior of its users. The latter is characterized by the poor security of the school grounds, with 45% of schools unfenced, and a low communal coverage rate (30.32%) for toilets/urinals, suggesting strong pressure on existing facilities.
