Profane Epistles are cartographies made from some pulsations that move us, namely: the manifestations of silences through artistic performances in the streets; an aesthetics of silences built at the crossroads between contemporary art, philosophy and anthropology; a performative research whose method implies in epistolary literature as a kind of knowledge. We start from the cultural silences of women to the manifestations of these silences through artistic and cultural performances. This epistolary cartography is a composition of letters exchanged with readers, artists, teachers, students, researchers, witnesses, colleagues and interested friends, among other real and fictitious recipients, such as cities and personified entities, artistic and conceptual characters, dialoguing with the references that constitute the body of work. We experience a synthesis between subject and object, theory and practice, content and form, method and creation, being able to collaborate for the epistemologies and methodologies of research in / with arts, in the interdisciplinary approaches of Cultural Performances.
