A native Texan, author Sam Brown has lived in Houston nearly all his life. After college, he spent a year working and traveling in Asia. Sam returned home to teach science and writing in his beloved city of Houston before an early retirement in 2018 to write full time. Sam resides in the Montrose area of Houston with his beautiful wife and painfully cute rescue dog. He loves Houston sports, day drinking, and watching videos of dogs meeting babies.
