Special consideration is given tothe General Comments"the "Concluding Observations" andthe "Views" of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child.The individual complaints procedure to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child against violations of the Convention on the Rights of the Child is also examined in detail. In addition, comparative legal considerations in relation to other universal and regional human rights conventions are included in each article commentary. Special emphasis is placed on the UN human rights covenants (IPbpR and IPwskR) as well as on the guarantees of the European Convention on Human Rights.
