Peace and Security have always been important and decisive issues for humanity, covering broad dimensions, including politics, culture, economy, environment; and governments alone cannot have an important role in providing them. Accordingly, the presence and role of non-Governmental Organizations along with governments especially in the globalization era is very effective. This book has investigated some of the most pivotal NGOs for peace and their history, mission, program and activities in order to illustrate the role of NGOs for peace in the U.S. regarding Iraq war from 2003 to 2011. In this way, through NGOs for peace, the writer has attempted to illuminate the approach of foreign policy of the United States of America toward Iraq War.
