Produktbeschreibung
The 21st century has already been defined by war and conflict that has ravaged the Middle East. The children of Abraham find themselves at the crossroads as social, political and religious upheaval has engulfed the entire globe. This study aims to highlight the rich and complex relationship Judaism, Christianity and Islam have shared for centuries. There is no doubt that Abraham is regarded by all three faiths to be one of the greatest men in history. Jews, Christians and Muslims share a unique heritage through the progeny of Abraham Issac (Ishaq) and Ishmael (Ismail) but this fact has been forgotten in recent times. The adherents of the Abrahamic religions are so close yet so far away from another if recent history is taken into account. This book aims to celebrate the diversity of the Abrahamic religions with a view to fostering harmony and respect between the children of Abraham.
