Medicine has been the focal point of learning, teaching and research at the University of Lübeck. In Computer Science and Molecular Life Science, the University was ranked No. 2 in the 2009 evaluation.The university has a Faculty of Medicine and a Faculty of Technology and Natural Sciences.
