Sibylle Scheipers is Senior Lecturer in International Relations at the University of St Andrews. Before joining the School of International Relations, she was Director of Studies of the Changing Character of War Programme at Oxford University. Her research focuses on the law of armed conflict, prisoners-of-war, irregular fighters, and detention and interrogation in the 'war on terror'.
