I am curious about people, life, and love. I was bullied in public school and have suffered from poor self-esteem in the past. As I have gotten older I have become more comfortable with my uniqueness and have learned to believe the truth that all people have a story worth telling. I am a university graduate with a B.Sc. degree from the University of Manitoba. I am a proud Canadian, a loving daughter, a reluctant cat owner (I love them but not their shedding), a good neighbour, and someone who has been bitten by the travel bug. I started my first book in 2015 after reading "The One Minute Millionaire". The author's inspired me to share my knowledge and opinion with the world. I have chosen to write non-fiction books because I like searching for the humour in the truth and sharing it with others. My first book was a homage to the unsung hero whose story may not have been told. I found that I could relate to them because I have felt underappreciated in the past. My more recent books are based on the personal experiences of myself and those I know. Some of the stories prove that truth is stranger than fiction and I enjoyed the experience of recording these stories for posterity.
