P.L. Henderson began an investigation of often invisible women artists, which led to social media project @womensart1. She regularly contributes to publications such as 'Art UK, 'Culture Matters', 'Feminism and Museums, Intervention, Disruption and Change. She was also one of the writing team for Phaidon's book 'Great Women Artists' (2019). Her book 'Unravelling Women's Art' was published in 2021. 'Unlocking Women's Art' is the second book in this series with 'Reframing Women Printmakers' to follow.
