This is the precursory report on feasibility of the development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) that can be primarily used for the surveillance and reconnaissance purpose. A Quad-copter configuration is selected after a detail analysis and with the objective to develop a UAV that capable of self-charging with the help of solar panels mounted on it and can make real time video of the target. UAV of such purposes also termed as MAV (Micro Aerial Vehicle). The principle requirement of the design is to keep UAV control more responsive , portable structure and user friendly that even non-technical users can use such as journalists, Farmers and list can go on further . Main purpose of this report is to aware reader about the key features that we would integrate in our UAV and conventional UAVs available in market does not promise these too much features such as ease of control, small in size, manual control as well as autonomous routing capability, solar charging for enhancing the flight time, real time video capturing and sending to remote user, light weight.
