Autorenporträt
Casey Overbeek has long been a storyteller, journaling and writing articles for the last forty years. The inspiration for this, his first book, came from his own experiences reflecting on the nature of doubt and faith, often walking along a railroad track outside of town-just as his protagonist, Heneka, does. He and his wife, Vicky, live on a small farm in rural southwestern Ontario with their children and grandchildren close by. He is known to most of the children in his life as Opa, even by some on his school bus and many not related to him. On the farm, he is known as the resident storyteller, campfire starter, diving-board champion and creative woodworker.
