Commerce graduate from Dibrugarh University (2003), Filmmaking post-graduate from School of Convergence (2006), Approach to Design Thinking from MIT Sloan Executive Education (2019). As a filmmaker, has been a contributor in leading and supporting capacities - in direction and production teams - in over 50 projects consisting of documentaries, corporate & brand films, music videos, and TV shows of Indian and international repute since 2006. Model of work all these years has been a hybrid of work-from-anywhere and on-site when required. Started a production farm and later self-produced a couple of music albums in Assamese (2009 & 2012) to try out the music felt inside. Without any prior training of virgin vocals and inability to play any instrument - those humble, unplanned, silly but honest attempts at albums somehow saw the light of the day - all thanks to the power of collaboration and skill delegation to skillful people. But a very reluctant and not-up-to-the-mark singer by self-admission and as a result that took the backseat. The audiences also did not seem to miss it. However, as a songwriter, got to a fairly decent start and has been involved in close to 100 Assamese songs so far since then. Recipient of Rodali Awards at the state level for songwriting (2018), and music video direction (2019). Nominated for Pride East Awards for songwriting (2018-2019).
