He depicts the position of the indigenous people of the region and those who were feeling the growing pains of a new country seeking to expand. He is passionately enamored with this era and describes it in an historically correct account. It is his desire to bring this enormously challenging time to life and describe the herculean efforts of our forefathers and the Native Americans that shared our country.
