Rosemary Mander is a midwife and Professor Emeritus at the University of Edinburgh, UK, where she was formerly Professor of Midwifery. Jo Murphy-Lawless lectures in sociology at Trinity College Dublin's School of Nursing and Midwifery in Ireland.
