No character is meant to be or to represent any specific person in real life. They are simply creations to carry the story and to be reflections of human nature. The mashed events are there to be familiar but are still their own tale. Also, some actions taken by the characters, especially towards the end, are done for the sake of excitement and keeping the story entertaining and not things to be encouraged. Use your brain.
